Accelerating Sustainable Aviation Fuel Initiatives.
The Canadian Council for Sustainable Aviation Fuels (C-SAF) was created by leaders from over 60 airlines operating in Canada seeking to bring together key industry stakeholders and government to accelerate the commercial production and use of Canadian-made low-carbon and sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) in Canada.
What is C-SAF?
The Hub and Voice for Sustainable Aviation Fuels in Canada
C-SAF aims to catalyze a SAF ecosystem and mobilize efforts to accelerate the commercial production and increase the scale and use of SAF in Canada. With stakeholder insights from across the SAF value chain, the Council plans to serve as a voice for its members with government and nongovernment stakeholders to define the strategy and the roadmap for the creation of a sustainable and profitable SAF market in Canada.
At C-SAF our vision is to facilitate the production and use of Canadian-made, low-carbon and sustainable aviation fuels to put the aviation sector on a pathway to net zero CO2 emissions by 2050.
To accelerate the commercial production and increase the scale and use of low-carbon and sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) in Canada by catalyzing the SAF ecosystem to develop and enable SAF value chains, design and advocate for innovative SAF policies and programs, define a SAF strategy and roadmap and provide the “go-to-place” for SAF development in Canada.
C-SAF seeks to facilitate and accelerate the commercial deployment of SAF in Canada.
The Council will establish a platform for the SAF value chain to collaborate, connect and create innovative solutions to increase the scale and use of SAF in Canada. Join us today to get in contact and collaborate with different stakeholders working together to foster innovation, production, and use of SAF in Canada and in the rest of the world.
C-SAF is led by a dedicated team focused on advancing SAF priorities in Canada with extended support from a specialized team of engineers, accountants and project managers who support airlines with first-class stewardship and the development of their strategic airport assets across Canada.
